Waterville is the location of the Bermuda National Trust headquarters. Originally built in the 18th century by the Trimmingham family, the property has been maintained and feature beautiful gardens that are open to the public.
At the end of Hamilton Harbour, known as Foot of the Lane, the waterfront is filled with mangroves where visitors can spot juvenile fish, Mangrove Crabs and a varitety of other wildlife. The gardens are a tranquil oasis filled with rose bushes and other flowering plants as well as a gazebo.
