Fort Scaur is a historic fort located on the western end of Bermuda, near Somerset Village. The fort was built in the 19th century as part of Bermuda’s defense system, designed to protect the island against possible invasions. The fort was named after Lieutenant-Colonel Anthony Scaur, who served in the British Army during the late 18th century.
